Thanks Bob, I look forward to meeting you when I'm back in. We need the help. A lot of guys have given up, we need to let everyone know we have only just begun.
Will you be able to make a difference? So many guys are not sure what the impact of going union will have on us. A lot of guys are afraid for their jobs. Right now, I'm not sure. I need to see what our future will look like.
Hi Bob,
Maybe we can do breakfast.
Hey "Reddawaydriver", this may seem crazy to you, but Bob Block from Roadway is meeting a group of us at Dennys at 4 a.m. friday morning. Railroad/ Diamond off ramp 15 south past the 91. He is keeping his word about anywhere, at anytime. For anyone that lives out this way, come join us
Are you guys going to be out at the gate next week?
Yest, there should be some organizers at the gate this week; maybe not every day, however.
Sorry, I logged in by mistake as anonymous, the previous comment was from me.
A Roadway driver told me today that he signed a document in support of making Reddaway Union. He even said that some management at Roadway wanted to sign it, but are not allowed to. I wonder if we will ever get to see this document. -KAP
Check out the newest post.
Yes, thanks for the letter. Now What? What is your plan?
Now what? We are going to get a super majority to sign cards, so the company can not pull any tricks like they did the last time.
It took 18 months to organize Texas. We have only been in this fight for 6 months, and we are very close with over 50 signed cards. It wont take us much longer. We are not giving up.
"WHAT EVER IT TAKES" is our motto.
Soon we will join the 77,000 guys at Yellow, Roadway, Holland, Reddaway North, and Reddaway East.
We will all be Teamsters soon. We will join the rest of YRC, in higher company profits, and better benefits, and retirement for drivers, dock, mechanics, and office workers.
